Life Science Automation Engineer

Celltrio is seeking to hire a skilled Life Science Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience. At least a Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Engineering, Electromechanical/Mechanical engineering or comparable field is desired. Experience in Pharma/Life Sciences with Lab Equipment is desired but not mandatory. Your duties will include combining technical skills with excellent communication and organization to:

Collaborate with customers, engineering, and management to identify customer requirements

Assist with defining modular layouts using standard components and solutions to best meet customer needs
-
Research 3rd party components and solutions to be utilized in Celltrio’s solutions
-
Focus on safety, economy, reliability, sustainability, regulations, and quality
-
Participate in the build and test of fully automated solutions for Cell Culturing and Biobanking
-
Develop technical documentation for customers and to guide the design of next generation products, systems, and solutions
Automation Assembly Engineer
Fremont, CA
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with 3+ years’ experience with assembling or manufacturing automation/robotics systems, lab, or capital equipment. Your duties will include:

Assembling and fitting mechanical and electrical components using hand tools and power tools

Monitoring quality, documenting problems, and suggesting improvements
-
Documenting final assembly testing and results

Communicating well in English, both verbally and in writing
-
Minimum of 3 years with basic assembly and troubleshooting experience

Being flexible in job functions
Project Manager
Fremont, CA
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience with managing automation/robotics systems assembly, software, lab, or capital equipment projects. Skills with managing waterfall systems/hardware projects and Agile software projects is desired. Your duties will include:

Collaborating with management, marketing, and customers to identify requirements

Planning and leading multiple projects with internal and external teams

Managing change requests throughout the project life cycle

Coordinating and managing 3rd party suppliers for ordering and receiving major system components within schedule
-
Identifying and managing project risks and issues
-
Defining, scheduling, and participating in test plans (including Factory Acceptance Tests)

Supporting the development of technical documentation for clients and internally for guiding the next generation of product development
Customer Success Engineer
Multiple Locations: Silicon Valley, CA, San Diego, CA, Philadelphia, PA and Boston, MA
The ideal candidates will be self-starters with 3+ years’ experience with driving customer success via installation, maintenance, and repair of automation/robotics systems, lab, or capital equipment. Your duties will include:

Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks

Assembling and fitting mechanical and electrical components using hand tools and power tools

Diagnosing errors or technical issues and determining proper solutions

Communicating well in English, both verbally and in writing

Documenting processes and timely, detailed service reports

Building positive relationships with customers
